On a cold November afternoon, it was a good day to be playing an indoor bowls match. Mole Valley were our hosts and very kindly loaned Merrow three players to make up our numbers.

We played on four rinks, with good performances on each rink. The match ran out as a draw on rinks (two each) but a very strong team on rink two resulted in a high score by Mole Valley, meaning that Merrow lost by around forty points overall. However, that did not detract from a very enjoyable afternoon and we look forward to returning next year.
